Tickets - Custom / Advanced Options

To Hide the Breakdown of Fees on the event page:

If you would like to hide the breakdown of fees to the customer, and only show the total price of a ticket during checkout, follow the steps below.

  • Go to the “Tickets” tab on the left panel
  • Scrolling down, under the “Order Options” header you will be able to customise your ticket.
  • Tick the box next to “Hide breakdown”
  • Select “Update”

To Customise the Ticket Header:

Ticket details are automatically inserted into the Ticket Header with your Presenter Account Name and the Event Name. If you would like to edit the information on the e-ticket follow the below instructions:

  • Go to the “Tickets” tab on the left panel
  • Under the “Order Options” header you will be able to customise your ticket
  • You may change the Presenter Account Name and the Event Name
  • You may add a sub-heading for further description
  • Select “Update” to save your changes.

E-Commerce Functionality:

If you are using the Megatix platform to sell a product or voucher, instead of tickets, you can change the event type to e-Commerce. This will remove elements such as the event start time, and remove any references to tickets. Customers will also be sent vouchers instead of tickets for their purchases.

  • Go to the “Tickets” tab on the left panel
  • Under the “Order Options” header you will be able to customise your ticket.
  • Tick the grey box next to “Event is being used for eCommerce”
  • Select “Update”

Adding your own Custom Terms and Conditions:

If you would like to customise the terms and conditions that will appear at the bottom of your ticket you may enter it in the blank field, replacing the terms and conditions by Megatix. The default terms and conditions are below:

The Presenter reserves the right to alter the date, the venue and the entertainment and activities as advertised without prior notice. No warranty is given nor representation made regarding the view of the stage.

We do not refund, exchange or substitute tickets after purchase nor do we replace tickets that may have been stolen, lost or destroyed, except as otherwise provided herein. Please treat your tickets like cash as we cannot replace lost tickets. A change in your personal circumstances does not entitle you to return or exchange the ticket.

If the event is cancelled because of any reason outside of the control of the Presenter then refunds shall be at the Presenters absolute discretion. For 18+ events - ALL ATTENDEES MUST BE ABLE TO PRESENT PHOTO ID TO PROVE THEIR AGE.

To withhold tickets or confirmation email for customers:

By ticking the grey box next to “Suppress Tickets”, tickets will be withheld from the confirmation email sent to the ticket buyer until a later date. Users will only be able to access their tickets via "My Orders" on the home once this option is disabled.

By ticking the grey box next to “Suppress Ticket Email”, ticket buyers won’t receive an email confirming their purchase at all.
