Custom Questions
Custom Questions are added to the checkout process to gather further information from the customer. These may be asked for each ticket holder or once per order.
To Create a Custom Question:
- Select “Custom Questions” from the left menu
- Select if you would like all the Custom Questions to be asked once for an order once or if you would like the questions answers relevant to each ticket holder.
- Select if you would like to add a “Common Question” or create your own question
To Add a Common Question:
- Select “Add a Common Question”
- Select from the dropdown if you would like to collect information regarding the customers address, postcode, date of birth or photo ID.
- To edit if you would like a question to be mandatory or not simply toggle the “Required” toggle to Green if you would like to make the mandatory or click it again to make it Grey if the question isn’t mandatory.
To Add a New Question:
- Select “New Question”
- Type in your question
- Select from the drop if you would like the answer to be one of the following types:
- Short Text – A single line of text
- Long Text – Multiple lines of text
- Valid Email – Text field in which a valid email address must be entered
- Dropdown – Drop down selector where the user will only be able to select one option from a list. This is suitable for large lists with many options
- Radio Button – Using radio buttons, where the user will only be able to select one option, and is suitable for when there are only a few options since all options are shown on the screen
- Checkbox – Users can select one or more options
- Date – Short text field in which a valid date must be entered
- Waiver – If you require customers to agree to specific terms and conditions for your event, you can paste in these conditions and ensure that customers agree to the terms/waiver before continuing
- File Upload – This will allow customers to upload a file (eg. proof of identity)
- Select “Save & Exit”
