Description
-
- Description – The main description of your event can be copied directly from a Word Document or Facebook Event and has full emoji support. Images and Videos can also be embedded for advanced users. For further assistance please contact your Account Manager or [email protected].
- Images / Artwork
- Event Square Image (400x400) - This will be the tile shown across the Megatix home page and also on your event page itself.
- Background Image (1140x420) - This will upload a background image for your event page. You may alternatively select a solid background colour from the colour picker, or if you leave this blank, a background will automatically be generated from a blurred version of your event square.
- Optional Logo / Banner (Max width 1140) - This will add a logo or banner to the top of your event page. In order for your event content to be visible on screen upon landing, it is recommended that your logo is no taller than 400px, however there is no height restriction. - Schedule – This will allow you to set a date and time for your event to go public. Until this time is reached, the event will remain Private.

Checkout Options
This page will configure all the options with regards to checkout and the transaction with the customer.
- Purchase Time Limit – This is the limit on customers to complete their transactions before their allocated ticket(s) go back into allocation. 15 minutes is the default, and will give customers enough time to complete their checkouts. For high demand events we recommend reducing this in order to ensure tickets aren’t held in checkout, and the event can sell-out quickly.
- Currency – The default currency is determined by the location of your event. Please note that if you are selling in a foreign currency, settlement times may vary and conversion to another currency may attract a fee.
- Default Language – The default language for all events is English.
- Payment Options – Depending on your region, there may be a number of payment types available to you. Select your desired payment methods by checking the box.
- Customer Options – By default, Megatix will capture Full Name, E-Mail Address and Phone Numbers from all customers during signup/checkout. Selecting additional options will capture more data from your customers.
Once all Checkout Options are finalised, select “Finish” and your event will be created. Please ensure to follow the next steps and create Tickets for your events.
